If you are thinking about making a website that will be monetized by Adsense, here are a few steps to find lucrative niches using some free tools:
- Identify the most lucrative terms related to your subject by using this tool.
- Cut and past the list from that tool into the Google Adwords Keywords Tool.
- Play around with the Google tool to find the most expensive keywords. Use your common sense and exclude keywords that might not be lucrative long term (tied to a certain event, trademarked, etc.)
- Build a website or blog around those keywords.
- Once your website has some traffic and at least a pagerank level of 1, add Adsense ads to it.
The keys to success will be (1) finding a niche that is profitable long term, (2) finding a niche that you know enough about to create a website that is valuable to visitors, (3) creating a valuable website for visitors, (4) promoting your website through SEO, and (5) adding Adsense in spots where they will get the most clicks.
